Looking Ahead
Valuation is evolving—and so are we. Ascent Partners is committed to redefining enterprise value by integrating financial performance, ESG metrics, and climate resilience. Through our commercial advisory and the Ascent Partners Foundation, we will continue to deliver insights that matter for businesses, investors, and society.
2025
Consolidation and Future Focus
In January 2025, we formally divested our commercial ESG reporting operations, positioning the Ascent Partners Foundation as the hub for sustainability resources and thought leadership. Today, Ascent Partners continues to lead in valuation advisory, integrating ESG, climate risk, and nature-positive strategies into every engagement.
2024
Nature-Positive Valuation
Signed an MOU with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to develop frameworks that incorporate biodiversity into corporate valuation models. Transitioned ESG reporting resources to a free-of-charge model through the Ascent Partners Foundation, democratizing access to sustainability tools.
2023
Strategic Partnerships for Climate and Value
Commercial: Signed an MOU with Ampere to integrate carbon credit strategies into corporate valuations, enabling clients to quantify climate-related financial risks and opportunities.
Charitable: Partnered with UNESCAP and IOM to advance sustainability and humanitarian initiatives, including the Asia-Pacific Business Forum attended by 500+ delegates from 40+ countries.
2022
Strategic Partnerships for Climate and Value
To strengthen our valuation and advisory capabilities, Ascent Partners became a member of Allinial Global in May 2022. Ranked as the #2 largest accounting association worldwide, Allinial Global comprises 270 member firms, generating US$6.76 billion+ in aggregate revenue, and operating in 112 countries. This milestone expanded our ability to deliver cross-border valuations, fairness opinions, and ESG-integrated advisory services.
2017
Commitment to Global Standards
We joined the United Nations Global Compact, aligning our valuation methodologies with global sustainability principles. In the same year, we established the Ascent Partners Foundation as a Section 88 charity, reinforcing our dual commitment: commercial excellence and social impact.
2016
ESG Integration into Valuation
Recognizing the growing importance of sustainability in enterprise value, we launched ESG Reporting Services in 2016. This was not just compliance—it was a strategic evolution. We began embedding ESG factors into valuation models, helping clients understand how environmental, social, and governance performance influences long-term enterprise value and investor confidence.
Impact: Delivered 400+ ESG reports across seven industries, integrating materiality assessments into valuation frameworks for sectors such as energy, property, and finance.
2012
Regional Expansion
By 2012, we extended our footprint to Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Singapore, enabling cross-border valuation and transaction advisory services for listed companies, private enterprises, and multinational corporations. This expansion positioned Ascent Partners as a trusted partner for complex corporate finance and restructuring mandates.
2008
Foundations in Valuation
Ascent Partners Group Limited was incorporated in Hong Kong on 7 March 2008 and officially launched in September during the global financial crisis. From day one, our focus was clear: to deliver world-class valuation and advisory services that empower businesses to navigate uncertainty and unlock growth. Our founding vision, “Together, We Flourish,” continues to guide our strategy.
Since 2017 Ascent Partners Group Limited has been committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
